It is built for naturally dark or uneven lip tone — cool, bluish or patchy pigment in particular — and works across all skin tones using colour theory rather than one fixed shade.
Up to three hours. Colour analysis comes first, then mapping and numbing, then corrective tones are layered to balance the pigment.
2–3 on average, and more where the natural pigment is very deep. Each session is judged only after it has fully settled, and the next one follows 6–8 weeks later.
The visible stage lasts 5–10 days, and the result of each session is complete at 6–8 weeks. In between, the tone can temporarily look lighter, darker or patchy — that is part of the process, and it should not be judged before the six-week mark.
Tingling, warmth, vibration, light scratching or pressure. Numbing is applied once the lips have been mapped and stays in use throughout.
Around 1.5–3 years after the course is finished, not after the first session. How long it holds depends on skin type, how fast your skin renews, pigment retention, lifestyle, aftercare and sun exposure.
No alcohol, caffeine or blood-thinning medication in the 24–48 hours before. Arrive with clean skin and nothing on the lips, and avoid booking close to an important date.
