What Happens at a Consultation

Thirty minutes
Before anything is booked

Every service starts the same way: thirty minutes, free of charge, at the studio or online. The point is to answer one question honestly — whether the treatment you have in mind is the right one for your skin, and what it will really involve.

We look at the area, talk through what you want changed and what result is realistic, and match a pigment against your natural tone. For brows and lips the shape is mapped before any colour is agreed. You leave knowing which service fits, roughly how many sessions it will take, and what it costs — prices are confirmed here rather than quoted in advance.

Results depend on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare, and more than one session is often needed. Nothing is judged until the skin has healed completely, so no specific outcome is promised at this stage.

When a Consultation Is Required

Paramedical work
and health conditions

Some work cannot be booked without one. Areola restoration is not carried out earlier than six months after the last surgery or reconstruction, and only once the area is fully healed and stable. Scar camouflage needs a mature, stable scar — for surgical scars the usual guide is six to twelve months, though the condition of the tissue decides it rather than the date alone. Clearance from your doctor is not required as a matter of course; it is requested where there is a specific reason, such as complications, radiotherapy or difficult healing.

You need to be eighteen or over for any service. Pregnancy and breastfeeding rule out treatment entirely, and other medical histories may require clearance from your physician first. Where a service would be unsafe or inappropriate, it will not be performed.

How to Prepare

Preparation starts weeks out
not the morning of

Preparation starts weeks before the appointment, not on the morning of it.

  • Four weeks before — stop retinol, acids and acne treatments on the area.
  • Two weeks before — no Botox or dermal fillers in the treatment area.
  • Seven days before — no sauna, steam room, tanning bed or heavy sun exposure.
  • 48–72 hours before — no blood-thinning medication or supplements unless prescribed.
  • 24 hours before — no alcohol and no caffeine.
  • On the day — no workout, clean skin, and a light meal beforehand.

Arrive with nothing on the skin — no makeup, oils, heavy cream or sunscreen. Individual services add their own rules: lips want gentle exfoliation for five days beforehand and no filler for four weeks; brows want no waxing, threading, tinting or lamination for a week; eyeliner means no lash extensions for five to seven days, no lash serums for eight weeks, and no contact lenses on the day. The complete list is in Care & Policies.

Deposit & the 48-Hour Rule

Booking terms
in plain words

A $50 reservation deposit holds a treatment appointment and comes off the total — it is not an added fee. Moving or cancelling needs at least 48 hours notice; given that notice, the deposit follows you to the new date. Late cancellations and no-shows can forfeit it, and deposits are not returned in cash.

Arriving more than thirty minutes late may mean the appointment is shortened, rescheduled or cancelled, depending on what is left in the day. The studio runs by appointment only — Monday to Friday 9–6, Saturday 10–5.

FAQ

Before the first visit

Yes — 30 minutes at no charge, either at the Las Vegas studio or online. It is where suitability is decided and where the price of the service you want is confirmed.

Yes. A consultation can be virtual or in person, whichever suits you. In-studio visits are by appointment, Monday to Friday 9–6 and Saturday 10–5.

Accurate health information. Some conditions can call for clearance from your physician first, and a few make a service unsuitable altogether — that is exactly what the consultation is for.

No. Treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and you must be at least 18 years old to receive any service.

It is not a blanket requirement. Clearance is asked for where there is a specific reason — after complications, radiotherapy, difficult healing, or where there is doubt about whether the tissue is ready for paramedical work.

Yes, on the same terms as anyone else — lip work included, and paramedical work after top surgery. Suitability is decided by your skin and your medical history at the consultation, exactly as it is for every client.
