Pre-Care Instructions
Permanent Makeup & Paramedical Procedures
General Pre-Care (All Services)
  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 48–72 hours unless prescribed.
  • Do not exercise on the day of your appointment.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, tanning beds, and excessive sun exposure for 7 days prior.
  • Discontinue retinol, acids, acne treatments, and active skincare in the treatment area for 4 weeks prior.
  • No Botox or dermal fillers in the treatment area for 2 weeks prior.
  • Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, oils, heavy creams, or sunscreen.
  • Eat a light meal and stay hydrated.
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
BROWS PRE-CARE
  • No brow tinting, lamination, waxing, threading, or tweezing for 7 days prior.
  • Avoid sun exposure or sunburn in the brow area for 7–10 days prior.
  • Do not exfoliate or use active skincare on the brow area for 4 weeks prior.
  • No Botox or fillers in the forehead or brow area for 2 weeks prior.
Lip Blush Pre-Care
  • If prone to cold sores, consult your physician for antiviral medication.
  • Begin antiviral medication 3–5 days prior if prescribed.
  • Gently exfoliate lips for 5 days prior.
  • Keep lips well hydrated.
  • No lip fillers for 4 weeks prior.
Dark Lip Neutralization Pre-Care
  • Lips must be fully healed and free of irritation.
  • Avoid aggressive exfoliation or lightening products.
  • Multiple sessions are expected.
  • Avoid sun exposure and smoking.
Eyeliner Pre-Care
  • No lash extensions for 5–7 days prior.
  • No lash lifts or tinting for 2 weeks prior.
  • Discontinue lash growth serums for 8 weeks prior.
  • Do not wear contact lenses on the day of treatment.
Paramedical Pre-Care — 3D Areola
  • Area must be fully healed (typically 6–12 months post-surgery).
  • No active infection, chemotherapy, radiation, or open wounds.
  • Medical clearance may be required: Medical clearance from the client’s treating physician or surgeon is required for clients with a history of breast cancer or oncological treatments prior to a 3D Areola procedure.
  • Avoid scar creams, silicone gels, and retinoids for 14 days prior.
Paramedical Pre-Care — Scar Camouflage
  • Scar must be fully healed (minimum 12 months old).
  • No keloid, inflamed, or unstable scars.
  • No steroid injections in the area for 6 months prior.
  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks prior.
Aftercare Instructions

Healing Overview
  • Healing is a gradual and individualized process.
  • Initial redness, dryness, flaking, sensitivity, or temporary color changes are normal.
  • Healing time and pigment retention vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare compliance.
  • Final results are evaluated only after full healing.
General Aftercare
  • Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours.
  • Do not touch, rub, scratch, or pick.
  • Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and sweating for 7–10 days.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2–4 weeks.
  • Use only approved aftercare products: a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment 2–3 times daily, as directed.
Brows Aftercare
  • Clean gently as instructed: with a gentle cleanser or water, 1–2 times daily.
  • Expect light flaking between days 4–7.
  • Do not pick or peel.
  • Color will soften by 30–40%.
Lip Blush Aftercare
  • Keep lips clean and dry.
  • Apply the provided aftercare balm in a thin layer 2–3 times daily, as directed.
  • Do not pick, peel, or exfoliate the lips.
  • Avoid sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and smoking during the healing period.
  • Days 1–2: swelling and more intense color are normal.
  • Days 3–5: dryness and flaking may occur.
  • Days 6–10: color may appear very light or faded.
  • The true healed color gradually returns and stabilizes within 10–28 days.
Dark Lip Neutralization Aftercare
  • Keep lips clean and moisturized as instructed by your artist.
  • Apply aftercare product as directed.
  • Avoid sun exposure, heat, and smoking during healing.
  • Do not exfoliate, peel, or manipulate the lips.
  • Healing may appear uneven and color changes are gradual.
  • Temporary lightness, patchiness, or uneven tone is normal during the process.
  • Dark lip neutralization is a progressive correction, and multiple sessions are typically required.
  • Final color results are evaluated only after full healing.
Paramedical Aftercare — 3D Areola
  • Keep area clean and dry.
  • Avoid pressure and friction.
  • Wear loose clothing.
  • Final results evaluated after 8–12 weeks.
When to Contact a Physician
  • Seek medical attention for signs of infection, increasing pain, fever, or allergic reaction.

  • Avoid massage and exfoliation.
  • Multiple sessions may be required.
Eyeliner Aftercare
  • Keep eye area dry for 10 days.
  • No eye makeup or mascara for 10 days.
  • No lash serums for 8 weeks.
Deposit & Cancellation (48h)
Deposit and cancellation terms for appointments.
Deposit
  • A deposit of $50 is required to reserve your appointment.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and applied toward your service total.
  • Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is received via Acuity online booking.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late: the appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING (48 HOURS)
  • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours: the $50 deposit is forfeited.
  • No-shows: the $50 deposit is forfeited.
  • Touch-up / follow-up appointments: the same 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
